Families and holidays go together and every year I get to spend the holidays with so many families like this one together for a family reunion photo. It’s the perfect time to capture everyone since I know how hard it is to get everyone in one place at one time. Families can be fickle at times but it seems that when everyone gets together for the holidays, they find some additional patience, grace and love to share. That’s what holidays do.
This darling family all gets along all the time. It was so fun watching their children playing together, brother in laws teasing and everyone laughing. These were taken at Pioneer Park on the red hill. I know it seems stressful to coordinate and gather everyone, but it doesn’t have to be and the results are well worth any bumps in the road to get there. If we have learned anything this year, it’s that time is precious and no one is guaranteed tomorrow. So plan the reunion, call and forgive, get the photos.
I love their gray coloring against the red rock background. It provides a nice color separation to make them stand out. This is just a small portion of their curated image gallery. Heads swaps, smoothing, tucking and and all the things have been done to help them look their best. Even though they are missing a beloved member or two who couldn’t make it, those who did will treasure these photos.
